June and I would like to thank all the people at Meisner and Zwicker who worked on our home, either directly or from the office. In every area our home has met or exceeded our expectations. From our initial contact with Richard and Glendon, beginning with the foundation and through the building we found everyone to be both curtious and professional. Those initial meetings gave us great confidence in the company which was backed up in the actual building process.
The advice given during the initial meetings and during the building was greatly appreciated. In any instance where there were problems these were dealt with promptly and professionally.
We would also like to say how much we enjoyed meeting all the guys who worked on our home. They were always friendly and very patient with our frequent visits. The level of craftsmanship at all levels of the construction is evident in the finished product.
The final meeting and billing was as expected with no surprises, a rarity in this business I believe and the lovely gift basket was much appreciated.

From the start, our contract negotiations were professional, cordial and reflected an understanding and willingness on your part to accommodate our goals and circumstances, including working with our Iender's requirements. You carefully reviewed our house plans
Because we were building long distance from the US and were able to be on site only twice, we retained a project management team to represent us. lt was clear that you and our project managers had a great working relationship and resolved the small - and a few not so small - issues that typically arise with new construction, and you were creative, practical, flexible and fair in accommodating our changes. When questions arose, there were no complaints and excellent suggestions. You completed the house on time and with no financial surprises.
One year later, after two blizzards, several tropical storms and the impact of a hurricane, we have yet to find even one nail pop or other fault with the construction.
We cannot thank you enough for the quality of your work. Your care and concern went further than using stainless steel nails for the shingles. There are no internal drafts, the floors do not creak or bounce, and the windows remain absolutely tight. You and your subcontractors are craftsmen and a pleasure to work with. We love the house.
Because of the collaborative process, you enabled us to make our dream come true. You not only met, but you exceeded, every unreasonable expectation on our part. We could not have found a better or more responsive partner.

Where do I start?
When thinking of building a new home there are so many things to consider such as financing the project.
Before starting, a trip to a financial institution to be pre-qualified for a mortgage, will give you a budget range of what you can do. You will have to decide where you would like to live when purchasing a building lot, which, will have to have an Access to Highway and if not in a town, an On-Site Septic Approval. Before you can apply for a Development Permit and a Building Permit you must have a set of building plans and specifications. A lot of these items still apply to renovations, additions and garages. For such a large financial purchase, you should choose a reliable company that you can trust and feel comfortable working closely with throughout the whole process.
